Plant Quality Engineer

 

Work Experience:

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Planning and execution of the quality concept by means of customer specific requirements and our Standards
  • Contact partner to customers for all quality items in project development phase
  • Support of supplier development and initiator of supplier 8D-reports
  • Carry out and document process audits (internal and external) and verify their efficiency
  • Coordination of initial sampling to the customer until the release and planning of requalification tests
  • Creation of product control plan and test instructions
  • Optimization of quality planning processes and FMEA's
  • On time and professional handling of customer claims following customer specific requirements and (D-method
  • Creation of timelines for QM-tasks
  • Execution of analyses incl. the application of statistical software (e.g. QS-Status)
  • Execution of capability and measurement capability studies. Ensure, that capabilities are given.
  • Execution of quality pre-planning in complex projects e.g. according APQP
  • Participation in feasibility commitments, risk-analyses, creation of book of duty and implementation of required processes
  • Coordinate the tasks for creation and collection of documentation for product and process release (PPAP)
  • Tracking of quality targets and initiation of necessary corrective actions
  • Special deviations
  • Production- and delivery releases
  • PPAP and requalification releases
  • Initiate internal incident reports (8D-reports and to suppliers)
  • Block duty at deviations in the production
  • Block duty at deviations in PPAP and requalification's releases
  • Final evaluation about the efficiency (approval) of suppliers 8D-reports

 

Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Min. 5 years practical experience, ideally in the automotive sector
  • Experience in the application of APQP/QVP, Q-methods and QM-systems
  • High operational readiness, assertiveness and self-reliance as well as team spirit and good communication skills
  • High ability to work under pressure
  • Very good MS-Office- and SAP-skills
  • Very good English skills
  • Professional behavior in association with customer and suppliers
  • Analytical and structured functioning
  • Willingness to travel
